SIGHT ASSISTANCE K9

For a half century the Guide Dogs of America has held a monopoly on training dogs for the blind. They have a program that has been blessed by numerous political organizations nation-wide. Their political roots are deeply established, and their hold on this particular K9 area is almost impregnable. They receive $40,000.00 a dog for the work they do.

In comparison, DOGWISH places Sight Assistance K9s. These dogs are not guide dogs, and are not to be compared with a guide dog. They are Assistance K9s, and work differently.
  1. Guide dogs are trained generically. The handler conforms to the training and handling taught at the Guide Dog School they must attend. Our K9s are trained individually. We work with you in developing a K9 custom trained according to your needs and desires.
  2. Many people that would not qualify for a guide dog can quality for a DOGWISH Sight Assistance K9.
  3. They have long lines for their dogs, and DOGWISH can have a dog for you in six months.
  4. As an Assistance K9 you dog will have at least three functions, whereas guide dogs have one.
  5. DOGWISH K9s are "brainwave and body functioning sensitive" but guide dogs aren't.

There are many attributes your dog will possess as A Dogwish K9 that guide dogs do not have.
