HEARING ASSISTANCE K9
Training K9s for the hearing impaired requires attention to several details important in the selection and the training of each dog. K9s for the hearing impaired, because they must act as the ears of their handler, alerting them important sounds and events like door bells, telephone ring tones, the sounds of someone calling your name, the sound of an approaching car, running water, or the many other sounds that people who hear listen for and respond to, that people who can't hear well don't. It is a literal lifestyle of hearing, alerting your handler, and showing your handler.
We all remember this, like when you were five-years-old living with your mother. You were constantly hearing, seeing, and finding things she either overlooked, didn't remember, or was unaware of. You were constantly telling, showing, reminding, and trying to communicate with her. If you do remember what that was like, you should have great empathy for a dog trained and working as a Hearing Assistance K9. Now, imagine, your mother was deaf! Can you now imagine how important the job of one of these K9s is, and how absolutely important it is to choose the right dog, with the right trainng?
Our Canine Evaluation process is the most detailed, comprehensive, and elaborate you will find anywhere. It has to be. We can't afford a mistake. We thoroughly evaluate every canine before training, so that we can know everything about each dog before we even begin to train it. It makes all the difference in the world. For instance, over 50% of all canines raised for and trained by other organizations fail to graduate. Our failure ratio for all dogs raised for our work and selected for canine training by us is almost 0%, because our selection and evaluation process is so complete.
We begin immediately teaching our dogs to cut hyper-tension. Because of this we can use many breeds or individual dogs that may possess stronger and more driven personalities that other organizations could never train successfully. It is important to note that we are the first school around that specifically teaches each K9 to cut hypertension on command. This is the first step in modifying the "mental state" in the brain of every K9 we produce.
We then teach each potential K9 to focus on the handler, ignore all distractions, and to use their senses to specifically concentrate on their handler only. This begins the process that leads to each K9 becoming "brain wave and body functioning" sensitive, where they learn and understand what is normal and can then detect what is abnormal or potentially harmful for their handler.
We then use our own special psychology to teach each K9 to be "handler sensitive", insuring that the new recipient and handler for our K9 will not have trouble. The dogs are taught on an intimate level to perform voluntarily, giving themselves to the training, and releasing their will to the handler in an conscious effort to bond closer and be a closer team. The dogs learn to relax, let go, listen, and respond to the commands or requests of the handler without any resistance. They learn to become very sensitive to any communication from the handler. In doing so their ability to receive and understand communication from a handler is much greater qualitatively then a human's would be.
A part of this sensitivity which goes way beyond the norm is also the ability that each K9 develops to use which we call "dynamic intelligence". In this process each K9 learns to use this special sensitivity to perceive and understand electromagnetic and electrostatic energies, which we greatly enhance through our conditioning teach them to understand the intentions, and mental desires of their handlers. This IS a natural process that we "enhance" and increase from three hundred to a thousand fold through our training. In fact, one of the criteria's for certification is proving capability to detect "brain-wave" signals and respond automatically in training.
Our K9s not only bond very closely with their recipient/handlers, they work for them on a higher qualitative level than most other K9s do. This is an important part of the success we find for our program. The relationship between our K9s and their handlers is a very powerful tool in which we place a great emphasis. That's the cement that makes every work. The recipient and the K9 both have to know, understand, feel, communicate, and work as an intimately connected unit. That's why in dog training we call our inter-team communication, a command. The word "co" means two, co-ordination, co-efficient, two working as one produces teamwork. There's no other way. Our Hearing Assistance K9 are honestly unbelievable!
