WHAT IS THE DOGWISH FOUNDATION?

In 1994 when Bob Taylor, Founder of Dogwish Foundation, became the owner of the websites www.dogtraining.com, and now www.us-k9.com scores of disabled people emailed him on his website, asking for help with serious and perilous conditions and situations in their lives that they needed help to deal with. In seeking to respond to these disabled people Bob found that along with their physical and mental disabilities, they all suffered from incredible financial disabilities as well. Bob not only had to create Assistance K9 training strategies for each individual, he also had to get the K9 to them at a cost they could afford. To this day Bob puts more financial resource into every dog he trains than he receives from his disabled clients. As a concerned humanitarian there was only so much Bob could do by himself, and therefore created Dogwish as a way to help each of person with a need financially qualify to own a Certified Service Assistance K9 that could make a difference in the quality of their lives. The DOGWISH Foundation, Inc. created in 2002, is a Licensed Non Profit Corporation, Registered with the I.R.S., and the Department of Justice.

DOGWISH is there to help every disabled person we can. Dogwish operates without discriminating in any way, providing K9s and services to many recipients that would never have been able to quality or receive a K9 from anyone else. Our goals are:
