I will never forget the day Laurie Alfson called me. I listen to people with serious disabilities who need help everyday, overloaded with problems, and pleading for my help, but even in the midst of all that, Laurie is special! Laurie has worked all her life, hard, raised children, been a productive and contributive member of society, and held it together for a lot of people, helping everyone she knew, making life easier and better for everyone around her.

Now Laurie needs help, and it's up to us to get it for her! "I have seen 11 doctors in two states, a psychologist, and a psychiatrist, had countless blood draws. I have been diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome, radial nerve damage in my Right arm, Anxiety/Stress disorder, Poly cystic ovarian syndrome, Insulin Resistant, Severe Vitamin D deficiency, and migraines. I am Physically, Mentally, and emotionally at a melt down." Laurie has classic physical and mental symptoms brought on by over working her body and mind, helping others, and surviving for her family. She needs OUR help, and she deserves OUR help. This woman is reaching out, fighting for her life, and WE need to stop, recognize her, and help her out!

Through extensive research Laurie has found The Dogwish Foundation that is dedicated to providing service dogs to people with both physical and Neurological needs. The Dogwish Foundation is training a K9 for Laurie! Her name is Heide. This dog will be Laurie's friend, confidant, protector, stress reliever & alert system. We are hopeful that Heide will help interrupt Laurie's meltdowns or explosive behavioral interruptions with her presence or a gentle nudge. Heidi is trained for Seizure alert, and can detect "improper brain waves and body functions". She will be able to provide Laurie with calming during sensory overload or stressful new situations. Laurie's uncontrolled anxiety attacks that happen in social situations will be interrupted, balanced, and stop because of the therapeutic conditioning we will do together.

For several years now we have helped multiple people with conditions identical to those that have attacked Laurie, and we know we can help her too! We are the Nation's premiere supplier of K9s for those with Autism and Seizures, and have a 100% documented and proven success record.
